Hundley boy fell asleep reading his Cars book, could he be any sweeter?

There was an incident involving my brand new sea blue fingernail polish. Norah was mostly the victim...Hundley found it one morning and ran into Norahs room, got in the crib with her, woke her up and they proceeded to jump and splash the nail polish all over and I luckily came in just as Hundley was trying to help her drink it. I want to laugh but I am still angry about the polish stain in the carpet.

Too stinkin big for his own good. This guy pretty much takes care of him self.

Beach Babe! Wow...I don't even know what to say about this picture. :) We went to Bear Lake and she had a good time! Couldn't keep her out of the water and she din't just want to walk in it. She wanted to go out in the deep the whole time! Hundley loved swimming too and I'm cool with that cause he loves his life jacket.

My sweet baby girl is now a one year old and she is getting sassy! She can take a few steps but for the most part refuses to walk without someone holding her hand. Her first word was "blast off" it's not totally understandable but she yells it out whenever we count backwords with Hundley. And she fake laughs alotGrandma Pete and the b-day girl..

So I have gotton pretty behind with the whole blogging thing this past year, please forgive me. In 2010 we sold a house, moved in with G-ma, had a baby, bought a new house, got diagnosed with celiac disease (yay), learned how to cook and eat gluten free, feeling great by the way... I just started working at Dottie Becks and if you haven't heard of it you better go check in out. Its on first east just down the street from jamba juice and they sale stuff that you have never seen, really cute stuff I might add. Toys, jewelry (Trollbeads), home decor. Oh and I just started a blog about it, dottiebecks.blogspot.com. Loving it so far!!

The kiddos--lets face it, they are the stars of the blog right? Hundley is such a sweet big brother and Norah LOVES him. She laughs her face off at him and follows him everywhere. He calls her Dora. We love those two and I kinda don't want them to grow up :( They are getting too big!

Our little sunshine baby girl, Norah Jo Zundel, arrived two weeks early! She weighs 5lbs 13 oz. 19 inches long and was born at 3:23 on monday May 24th. I started having contractions around 5 that morning and by 9 decided that they might be real...and they were indeed! We were pleased and surprised to see that she had as much hair as hundley, thicker but not longer. We are so glad she is here (her big brother isn't so sure yet).

Hundley loves sesame street, Madagascar 2, the number three, playing tackle with dad, shutting doors in your face, jumping off things and yelling 3! He can show you your eyes, ears, mouth, nose and hair. His most often used words lately are "don't" and "Stop it" He puts movies down our heater vents...puzzle pieces in the garbage and anything he can in the toilet :) He freaks out when mom/dad/gma's and grandpas hold other babys. He is pretty stinking funny!!

For the 2nd time since we have been married, Casey and I got the flu on Christmas! Casey started puking sometime early christmas morning. He was pretty much non-existent christmas day. I did keep checking on him to make sure he was still alive. He finally came out of the sick room about 8 that night...poor guy. I could feel myself getting a little sick around lunch time but Its kinda hard to tell when you are pregnant cause you are always wanting to puke....at least I am. So I didn't get really sick until that night and I am still feeling SO crappy! We were just glad that we had decided to sleep over at my parents, they were a huge help with Hundley and the two sicklys. Hundley LOVES christmas. He wasn't as good at opening the presents as he was last year but he was in heaven playing with all his new toys. among his favorites are his new vacuum, a doodle board, a puzzle with doors that lock and a keyboard that he hasn't had much time to play with because his cousins and Grandpa think it's awesome too. He just wouldn't stop playing with one thing to open another.

Black Friday,Thanksgiving & baby#2

Yes I ventured out early this morning with my sis and cousins Kayla and Risa. Last year was our first black Friday experience, and although I was frightened for our lives for a brief moment in Walmart, I decided I could take any one down with the help of my raging hormones! That's right...for those of you who don't already know, My ego is prego. I am due June 8th and this was no accident, although I have questioned my own judgment on the decision. Its funny how quickly you forget the misery of the 1st trimester. I have been sick and cranky and unbelievably miserable. Hundley hasn't been much help and he cries every time I hold a baby so this should be lots of fun:) Casey however has been so great and helpful while I lie on the couch and shout out orders. He actually asked me who I thought this pregnancy has been harder on, me or him. Can you believe the nerve? Anyways, no incidences this morning with the shopping except for we left our mcdonalds food in the car while we went in to the mall and when we got back in me and Abby both were puking out the window from the smell. SICK. Oh and thanksgiving was great at grandma petes. I just had cheeseball, crackers and veggie tray. I hate food. And food hates me. We just aren't getting along like we used to. No Pics cause my camera is ready for retirement. Hopefully Santa will bring me a new one!

We just spent a week in Island Park. Hunders loved the great outdoors...lots of bike rides, four wheelin and floating rivers. We did spend one day in the trailer watching movies and cleaning up all Hundleys barf clothes in the river. Ya he had the flu, poor guy. Then we got home and I had the flu/strep throat/ear infection...so that was lovely.
We also have a pic of Justin and Hundley cuddling during nap time, Hundley watering our grass which he thinks is the greatest thing ever next to "Butt Ball". We think that means basketball although that and grandpa sound the same. He can also learned to say eyes when he was sick and I had to clean out his eyes every morning. Oh and he likes to tell you "get" when he wants you to get his bottle. The latest and greatest news is that he now sleeps in his crib ALL night!! Meaning I am sleeping through the night now!! Hooray!

We made it out of Vegas a day later and to oceanside FINALLY! Grandma Pete got us an awesome beach house with 10 bed 10 bath and 3 decks....2 hot tubs and awesome views! Hundley loves the ocean....runs into it the second you set him down. He even got knocked down by a huge wave the first time but he didn't hesitate to get back in.

Well at the moment we are stuck in Sin City. On our way to Cali...G-ma's burb broke down last night. Hundley had finally fallen asleep and we were good to drive on thru but the burb suddenly lost power and quit on us. Me, Hundley, Tarin and Kyle walked in the hottness of North las Vegas to the Holiday Inn and here we sit, waiting to hear if they fixed the burb or if we need to get a rental! The news just reported a heat wave so I sure am glad this happened in Vegas instead of the middle of death valley!

Not a huge fan of cake but loved the ice cream cone...dipped in rocks. The spoiled kid got a basketball hoop, a fourwheeler, a dump truck,a pool, books and balls and all sorts of toys. Yet he came home and still rolled my excersize ball around the house! He does love his new toys though. Thanks for all the presents! In the past few weeks the little stink has ran out the door and almost to the raod, ran out into the middle of his dads ball game, fell off my bed twice, fell off the fourwheeler, dumped kool-aid all over the kitchen....oh wait, that was payton....anyways he is a handfull!

OK. so the first one is supposed to be the before...even though the paint and floors were already changed.....whoops. We painted our top cabinets white, the bottom brown, added new hardware, a new countertop and sink(an awesome sink I found for a whopping 20 bucks!)new faucet and backsplash plus we added some stainless steel open shelving. I still plan to paint the table but we need a break from projects for the moment.

The #4 thing that makes me happy is my job....or lack thereof. I love staying home, taking care of my crazy boy and trying to keep up on laundry. I'm not saying its easy cuz its at least 10 times harder than I thought it would be. I always thought that once I didn't have to work my house would be clean 24/7. Dinner would be on the table at 6 and life would be just peachy! Wrong! Still love it though! I wanna give a shout out to my hubby for letting me stay at home with our lil' guy! luv' you honey!

So it took me forever to get around to this tag but it sounded pretty fun. Go to your 6th folder and 6th picture and blog about it. The following is Me, my bestest friend/sister in law Mckell and a few college friends on our spring break trip in Tulum Mexico. As poor college students we were proud to spend less then $400 dollars on this 7 day trip. We drove to Denver crammed in my yukon, then flew to Cancun were we took a 90 minute bus ride to Tulum where we stayed in bamboo huts on the beach. This picture was at the Mayan Ruins.....good times.

11 months old and walking, lucky me! All Hundley wants to do is hold my hand and walk around the house. He can do it himself but he prefers a helping hand. We went to park city last weekend and he wandered the halls with his cousins. He can get in about 15 steps without falling. Sorry I don't have any pics of it, what a slacker mom I am! Oh and he talks....well mostly he just says "Ball" He walks really well when you put the ball in front of him and tell him to kick it. His fave movie is baby einstiens "lets move" and they kick a ball in that one so he thinks it is pretty cool. He also does patty cake now and he's been meowing at our kitty for months. So that's the update. Lates!

We took the boat out the other day (it was Hundleys first time boating). He loved it! It was cold and windy but he didn't care, he just bounced around in his life jacket and even rode on the tube with dad. He just waved at us the whole time! So cute! Can't wait to go agian!

OK my excuse for being a supper slacker on the 8 days of what make me happy is that we don't have the internet at our house. I know it sucks but we are poor. So I will do 3 days today.

1. Hundley- obviously, he is adorable and funny and loves me even if I'm looking super scary or smell bad....he could care less. His smile justs melts my little heart and I can't imagine life without him.

2. Casey- My Hubby, He loves my too but I think he likes me a little better when I'm pretty and smell good. weird. He is so sweet to me and Hundley and we are so lucky to have him in our lives. He's such a good example and he know how to have fun. Sometimes I have to tell him if something is not fun but retarded. He always disagrees. Oh and he knows everything...so thats a plus.

3. Baths- At least once a dat, preferably before bed. My husband knows how much I need my bath. In guatemala I had to shower instead of course, and I was sick, but one night my shower wouldn't get hot and I just stood there and cried for like 20 minutes. It was horrible

Unfortunatly the hot tub was not hot enough to make up for the 65-70 degree weather but Hundley still wanted to swim, and he did. Last week was brutal. It was so sunny but freezing cold still and me and Hundley were having some spring fever. Our solution? We go play in the car. Hundley loves to play drive, he washes the windows and does the blinker and the radio. It was actually hot in the car so we even have the windows down for fresh air.

I just realized that I hadn't posted a good picture of Hundleys 1st Christmas. This is him and Justin on Christmas Eve right before bedtime, cute little guys. I can't wait until they actually understand Christmas. I remember when I was little my brothers would always wake up really early and carefully unwrap the nintendo game shaped presents that Santa brought them....Play nintendo for a few hours and then wrap those games back up as if we had been sleeping all night and they would send me in to wake up my dad. I was always the good little child who tried to tell the other kids that we needed to stay in bed until morning, but they threatened to tell me what all my presents were before I even got to see them! I mean...what's a girl supposed to do?

I didn't really have a picture to go with my updates but I like this one. Its been crazy around here. All 3 of us have had a wicked nasty cough for a month and towards the end of that I coughed so hard that I had possibly damaged my ribs or something...So I spent my days moving as little as possible and picking up hundley when I absolutely had to since it hurt so bad. He was such a good boy through it all, just played in my bed most the time...Anyways then I got some bad head aches followed by tightening of the chest and it was getting really hard to breath and I found a rash on my side, kinda scary but we are uninsured so I was determined to stick it out. Luckily I had a few good Dr's at the family christmas Party. They took one look and said it was shingles...EEk. If you haven't had chicken pox you better stay away from me! In the mist of all the sickness we had a frozen pipe and no hot water for a day..not fun. Whatever I'm SO over it! I just hope Hundley doesn't get the chicken pox for Christmas :(

8 Things I Did Yesterday: (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

8:00 a.m.- Kept sleeping while pretending not to hear Hundley wide awake and playing with the blankets in bed. We did turn on the TV for him...He loves spounge bob.

9:00-10:30 a.m.-Finally got up and played with the little stink, and made pancakes with Casey

12:30 p.m.- Went to Kyles' (Caseys lil bro) basketball game, stopped @ Arbys on the way!

2:30 p.m.- Went to Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse! Bought a new bathroom vanity for $150! (reg $568), some rain gutters and a stain for my kitchen cabinets! I love Saturdays!

5:15 p.m.- Made Dinner. Hawaiian Haystacks.

7:00 p.m. - Searched the internet for what cold/sinus/headache medicines breastfeeding mothers can take....but then lost internet connection. took cough drops

8:00 p.m. - Fed The Kid his oatmeal and boy he thought that was a good time

9:00 p.m.- Bath time for me!(my favorite time of day) and Hundley (also loves to bath)

Hundley and Justin had to take a bath together the other day...Hundley just smiled and sqealed and kicked Justin. He was super excited. I think justin was trying to ignore him and play with his toys but they were cute!

So I've been stressing out about having to work today and make it to Tarin and Jasons wedding....and not having anything to wear to the wedding and not having time to get ready, etc... So I came into work at 7:30 and I'm the only one here! Its now 8:00 and it looks as if someone forgot to tell me that the Dr's aren't doing procedures today! Guess I'll have to cancel my babysitter! Before this cold weather struck we took advantage of the sunshine and of the time we are getting to spend together while Casey is unemployed....We took a nice little hike together. Yes of course Hundley enjoyed it....he loves anything outside it seems.

Hundley attended his 1st USU football game and he loved it! Thanks Justin and Jenica for inviting us, it was tons of fun! He just sat on our laps and looked around at everyone, watched the game....and when he got tired he just closed his eyes and slept! What a good baby! Go Aggies Go Aggies, hey hey hey!

We are in love with our baby and his crazy out of control hair! Seriously...what did we do to deserve a baby this cute? I was all scared that our babies would get the ugly curse because Casey is always making fun of all the "not super cute" babies that we came across. He looks bigger today if you ask me, growing just in time for daddy to come home tomorrow!! yippee! We hate not being able to be together everyday and can't wait to see each other tomorrow. I feel so bad that Casey hasn't been able to play with Hundley everyday but at least he gets a good nights sleep while he's gone!

So we went ahead and took the boys shopping to Park City since they just love riding in their carseats so much! (Hundley starts crying right when you put him in now). Luckily Grandma Huggins was willing to ride in the back seat with them to handle the bottles and binkis. We only had room for one stroller so they had to share....Justin loved it and screamed when we took Hundley out! It was great.
The last pivture here is hundley all tuckered out at the end of the day.

I was prepared for a bald baby and SO excited to see his head full of hair! I think he is the cutest thing that ever @ 7.1 lbs and 20 inches!

Say hola and welcome Hundley Brent Zundel into the world. Dude was born @ 11:40 a.m. on Monday, July 7th. He enjoys sucking his thumb, eating, swinging, and long drives in his mom's car. He is currently seeking employment in the entertainment industry in which he feels very confident that he can "knock their socks off".
His parents are so happy to finally have him here with them. Now we got someone to love, not a girl he's a boy. He's a wildcat now and a bundle of joy. I'ma spit it atcha straight and these is the facts, now my life is straight up dirty diapers and similac.

Well it's still in need of a changing table and a few other necessities but here's some pics of our babys room thus far! It is gender neutral just incase we somehow have a girl.....not likely. The grand total of this room so far only comes to about a hundred and fifty dollars. See, I can be thritfy! Casey put up the bead board and we already had most of the paint.
Oh and don't worry I went to the dr. today and I somehow got mixed up and thought I only had six weeks left....apparently I'm only 32 weeks along, not 34..bummer. I'm ready to be done any time now!

Oh the joys of homeownership! This past week we have been working on our Nursery (pics coming soon). Saturday morning I had plans to get some projects done around the house....luckily I decided to put in a load of laundry before working on the babys room. I walked in the laundry room to find beads of water on all the doors and windows...odd. After one more step I found my feet were covered in water, our water heater was leaking a nice steady stream of water. So I gather my buckets and towels and attempted to get control of the situation. I was switching off buckets and emptying them outside as fast as I could as I tried to get a hold of Casey at work. Not that that did any good....he couldn't leave work, so I called my bro and he came over to help me. We hooked up the hose and drained the tank but boy did we have a mess! I'm glad I was actually home that day instead of at work! The Plumber came out and he thinks we have a leak elsewhere in our pipes so now we have that to worry about! It never ends!
